Communications Center
The Communications Center consists of a team of TCOLE licensed telecommunicators who are the life line to the deputies on patrol. The Communications Center also acts as a liaison to the public and other agencies 24 hours a day, every day. The dispatchers and call takers are the calm voices heard but not seen in times of crisis and other emergency and non-emergency situations. Our Communications Center can be contacted 24/7 for emergency and non-emergency calls at 281-376-3472. In addition to the many resources available to help officers and the public, the Communications personnel are also responsible for:
- Entering missing persons, articles, abandoned/stolen vehicles, stolen/lost guns and many other entries into state and federal databases
- Confirming state and federal entries for any agency that may locate one of our entries
- Confirming of wanted persons outside of business hours
