Motorcycle Unit

The Motors Unit is responsible for high visibility traffic enforcement, enforcing reckless and intoxicated driving, and investigating motor vehicle crashes. The goal of the Motors Unit is to increase mobility, deter crime, prevent accidents, and reduce aggressive and unlawful driving on and around major thoroughfares throughout north Harris County. Police motorcycles are a significant benefit to traffic enforcement efforts due to increased maneuverability compared to traditional patrols car.
